Your questions answered

Choosing a photographer can be a daunting task and you may have many questions that you would want answered.

I have compiled a list of questions which I often get asked however if you have any more questions which are not listed here please feel free to contact me.

Where are you based?

I am based in Conwy County but cover all of North Wales & parts of Cheshire. Covering all counties such as Anglesey, Gwynedd, Conwy, Denbighshire, Flintshire & Wrexham.

How far in advance do I need to book?

Basically, the answer to this question is how long is a piece of string. Summer weddings can get booked up very quickly, especially weekends. I am now taking bookings for 2020. I have taken wedding bookings as far in advance of two years and as less as two weeks. Contact me to see if your date is available.

How should I choose my photographer?

Finding the right wedding photographer is so important for your big day. Once you have chosen the one you who’s photos you like and fits within your budget it may be worth meeting them to see if their personality fits with yourself.

You are with them for your big day and you want to make sure that they are the right fit. Do they make you feel at ease? Do they hide any extra costs?

Many photographers only show their very best images on their website, it may be worth checking out their blog or more work to see the consistency of work. You want to make sure you can book someone who is able to work at their very best on your important day.

What if I don't like having my picture taken?

Even though I am a professional wedding photographer I do not like having my picture taken so I completely get this. Each and every couple are different in front of the camera, some are perfectly comfortable and some are uncomfortable and this is no problem at all.

Upon our consultation I discuss on how we are going to make the day relaxed and fun to make you feel at ease. It’s all about you and your partner on the day & I want to make sure you can relax & not worry.

What happens if your ill or injured on the day?

I have never missed a wedding and don’t intend on doing so in the future but I cannot guarantee that I won’t ever miss one, however I am lucky enough to have quite a few contacts locally and I would make sure that you would have someone there on the big day.

What happens if your gear breaks or fails?

I am lucky enough to have three cameras and numerous lenses. If one fails (which has never happened) I have enough back up. I take very good care of my cameras and equipment and I am always prepared. I shoot with two memory cards and your images are uploaded to three different hard drives as soon as I arrive home after a wedding.

How long does it take to receive our images?

I always give a timescale of couples receiving their images around the 6 week mark. Sometimes it can be earlier however I have never gone over the expected timescale. If I go away for family time I always make sure my customers are aware of this and keep them informed along the way.

Do you offer albums?

I do, I have a stunning range of albums with options of sizes & designs.

They truly are beautiful and set off wedding images in a perfect way.

I would love to show you these when we meet.

Do you have insurance?

Absolutely, this is so important as a wedding photographer to be insured.
